I believe that giving back to the community that I love is an incredibly important thing to do. For the past few years, I’ve partnered with a handful of local organizations that I feel a connection to, and that represent a variety of challenges that Winnipeg faces, and I make a donation to one of them when any of my clients purchase or sell their home. 

Prior to taking possession of your home, you’ll get an email from me explaining what to expect and what the final steps are. Part of that email will explain this initiative to you, and ask you to choose from these five options. I always look forward to making that last connection with you, and I hope it feels meaningful to you as well.

  • NCC

    The Nature Conservancy of Canada has conserved and protected over 71,161 hectares (175,843 acres) in Manitoba, across nine natural areas critical to the province’s biodiversity. These areas provide important habitat for thousands of species of plants and animals, many of which are endangered or at risk. They aim to ensure that these special areas, plants and animals continue to be there for generations to come and that Manitoba continues to be a special place.

  • Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter

    The Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter is Manitoba’s first registered charity NO-KILL animal shelter. Since it’s inception in 1999, the shelter has helped give thousands of injured, abandoned, and unwanted animals their second chance at life by providing food, shelter and veterinary care in a euthanasia-free environment.

  • Mama Bear Clan

    Mama Bear Clan is a community safety initiative that was created by North Point Douglas Women’s Centre's Women's Warrior Circle. In 2016 a group of mothers, grandmothers, sisters and aunts decided that safety is something that is fostered through relationship: within ourselves, our home, and in the community. Sometimes all people need to feel safe is knowing someone cares about them.

  • Resource Assistance for Youth

    For over 25 years, RaY has empowered disconnected youth through supports, training, and compassion to encourage them to make the best possible choices for their lives. RaY is a nationally recognized and award-winning nonprofit organization located in Winnipeg, MB. RaY supports youth ages 0 – 29 with integrated programs and services in a nonjudgmental and inclusive space.
