GET TO KNOW ME

My name is Ben Woelk. My ultimate goal is to make the buying or selling process as stress-free for you as possible by providing you with honesty, transparency, and accountability.

I grew up in Winkler, Manitoba, and moved to Winnipeg in 2016. Prior to starting my career in real estate, I worked in a medical billing office, working directly with anesthesiologists. That job taught me professionalism and communication skills, both of which are some of the top traits named in reviews left by my clients.

I immediately felt comfortable and welcome at RE/MAX One Group, and that made it an easy choice for me when I had to decide where to start my career. I sensed that the same values that I strive to incorporate into my career were held in very high regard at RE/MAX One Group. Maintaining a high ethical standard goes much further than my actions - it also includes who I choose to associate myself with. Choosing to work with the staff, brokers, and other agents at RE/MAX One Group is a big part of my identity as a Realtor®.

Since starting my career, I’ve grown my business rapidly and strategically. I’m proud to say that the majority of my clients come from referrals, whether from family, friends, or colleagues. Building my career this way is important to me because it means that my professional relationships have been based on trust. Working with referred clients and being able to make connections in that way is one of my favourite parts of working in real estate. 

I married my wife, Paige, in 2020, and we brought our dog, Scout, home with us shortly after. We moved to East Fort Garry in 2024 and immediately felt at home. I’m an avid golfer, aspiring furniture collector, and enjoy yard work much more than interior house maintenance and updating.
